Beginning K-1 fiancee visa

Hi, all!

I'm beginning this K1 process, but have a few questions that I'm hoping someone will be able to clear up for me. After looking at the step by step guide, there appears to be nothing needed of the foreign fiancee, aside from the G-325a. Is there truly nothing else that I will need him to send me? Birth certificate, etc.? Also, is the package to be sent to the Texas lock box ( I was uncertain to whether this was still accurate)? Thank you guys so much for your help!

Letter of intent to marry within 90 days of entering. It's in the instructions and one of the most missed things....

The initial I-129F petition is done by the petitioner and only needs a G-325A, passport photograph and intent to marry from the beneficiary.

The rest of items from the Beneficiary is needed for when they apply for the k1 themselves.

It is two different processes.

Follow the guides and flow chart, you can't go wrong.

Yes all petitions are sent to the Texas lockbox and then routed to their destinations Texas/California.

Foreign fiancé must send G-325a and letter of intent with their signature. You'll also need a US size passport photo of the fiancé. If they have any other viable evidence like copies of boarding passes or passport stamps etc. That's it from them.

Eventually you'll be the one sending them documents, like the I-134 and supporting evidence during interview time. It's also good to provide the foreign fiancé with a copy of the I-129F package.

That's correct, it must go to the Texas Lockbox.

Keep in mind this is just the sorting facility, that everyone must send it to, and your case will be directed to the appropriate service center. By default currently, all new petitions are going to California.

Thank you all for your help! It's greatly appreciated! I'm not sure if I could accomplish this without the help of this site!

He visited recently, and we were going to marry and adjust status. Obviously, we changed our minds. However, we had already gathered the necessary documents to do that and had them translated. So I suppose my confusion stemmed from that, but understand that that is a different process.
