hi all

Please look at the photo below. It's the exact what i received from NVC after submitting all my documents to them for 30 days. I was confused with their requirement.

1/ What they want me to do with first line ?

"[x] I-864, Affidavit of Support Checklist "

--> Do they want me to submit another I-864? or correct something ? or to include another checklist cover sheet for additional documents that i gonna submit this time?

2/ Final line in the picture:

"[x] You must submit the following financial evidence:

[x] Proof of current employment (examples: a recently dated job letter , pay stub, or a copy of your business license)"

--> I'm an independent contractor. I've been working with one service provider for almost a year. Previously, i worked for many providers. I file tax with form 1040 (including Schedule C). I have a license to operate my job (it's a requirement in this field). Thus, i may wonder if i have to submit all paycheck copy (i deposit cheque to bank all) from bank account, and copy of my license. I don't know if i should ask for an employment verification from my service provider (who in cooperate with me to work on final users- clients)--> They provide me with place so that i could provide my own service to end-users with my own tools.

Do you have a license as a contractor?. If so,send that in that will be what they are asking for. Also, a letter verifying employment may help.

It basically states there was an error when they reviewed your form i864 Affidavit of Support. They are referring to the proof of employment. Your next step which I suggest, is sending the needed information as soon as possible, for example like i mentioned before a copy of your contractor license and or a letter verifying employment. You need to send this along with the bar code sheet you received with the checklist letter. Once you have everything submit it to the NVC.

Thanks, appreciate...But i still have a problem which confused me a lot....

The letter NVC sent to me also says:

"------Australia Police Certificate--------

Police Certificate-All Australia

Available

Fees: Refer to the Australian Federal Police (AFP) website for the current fee

Document name: National Police Certificate

Issuing Authority: Australian Federal Police

Procedure for Obtaining: Follow instructions on the Australian Federal Police (AFP) website

national Police Certificate based on fingerprints are preferred, but a certificate not based on fingerprints is acceptable if it shows all aliases ever used. When applying for the certificate, indicate that it is " for immigration purpose" and must be "full disclosure"

Applicants who are required to provide an Australian police Certificate should present it at the time of interview or request that it be sent directly to the Consulate where they will apply.

Police certificate are valid for 12 months from the date of issue"

---> As i understand that applicant should bring this certificate with him in the date of interview. But do i have to submit this police certificate to the NVC now? If i have to submit police certificate this time, do i have to submit the copy or the original version to the NVC?. Will the Australia police department provide us with 2 versions? (Copy certified and the original version?)

Correction, NVC requires a photocopy of the Police Certificate (and all other supporting documents you provide to them). You take the originals along with you during your interview at the embassy.
