Here is our latest news flash:

Renewal application send for EAD/AP : May 31,2016 (AOS pending over 1 year). Received June 2, 2016,Notice date June7, 2016, emails,texts, NOA1 hard copy

*Service request for pending AOS April 21, 2016, case not assigned yet.

*Service request for pending AOS June 14, 2016, tier 2 said performing background checks.

*Service request and expedite request for EAD/AP Aug 3, 2016, Aug 10, 2016 notification that request was received, assigned, responded to and completed.

*Service request for I-485 Aug 3, 2016, Aug 11, 2016 notification that request was assigned.

Interview letter received Aug 12, 2016

Interview September 21, 2016. (That will be after 16 months of pending AOS with 4 service requests and expedite request.)

I really wanted them to drag it out until December because then we could have gotten the 10 yr GC and wouldn't have to do the ROC.

I hate interviews and gathering a gazillion documents all over again. I guess we are the last one of the May filers, trailing behind everyone else.

It's insane to see that you are still waiting. I really hope that you'll get the 10yr gc. I did but my paperwork was a bit different. Good luck hun

Thank you, well it will be a 2 year card because our interview is in 3 weeks, unless they drag out the approval after that

for 3 more months. We did get approval for the EAD one day before the old EAD expired....so no more worries about

having to stop working.

Yes, it was quite an experience. I had let hubby know that the questions may be of sexual nature and they were.

Past relationships were asked about and to what extend those relationships went.

Of course we know so much about each other that we answered alike.

When we are approved I will write down a few questions, don't remember all of them as we were separately questioned

for one hour each, there were probably about 80 questions each or so.

Audio/video cams were rolling.

Next week it will be a month of waiting.

I asked how long until we hear something and she said one week, two weeks, maybe even a month, you aren't special and I have

lots of other files to do. I hugged him and said yes we are special and she gave a faint smile.

I believe we are approved but our A file is so thick it will take a while to go through.

Wow! I didn't think they were allowed to ask sexual questions? Not like you can argue with them without being denied though. I think it's insane that it was recorded though, especially to that extent. What a bitchy comment from the lady though.. everyone understands that it's a process and takes awhile, she should've just kept that to herself. Do you think they'll pop in for a home visit before getting approved?

No I don't think they will do a home visit but they are welcome to do so if they want to, it will just cement our bona fide

marriage.
