Hi ... we are currently getting ready for our move from the west coast to the UP ... we are a bit concerned as to where the local offices are. Would anyone be able to tell us where we would have to go for Dave's biometrics? We tried googling it and are a bit freaked because it's 8 hrs away. That's a LONG drive for a 5 minute appointment.

Thanks in advance & good luck on your journeys :)

Yes ... it's Milwaukee WI which is 5 hours away ... that absolutely sucks for a 5 minute appointment!

Milwaukee one is the closest of these 4? Sometimes, zip code doesn't show closest...

The following Application Support Center(s) service Michigan:

The address is: USCIS Application Support Center 11411 East Jefferson Avenue Detroit, MI 48214.
  • Kentwood, MI.
The address is: USCIS Application Support Center 4484 Breton Road Kentwood, MI 49508-5270.
  • Michigan City, IN.
The address is: USCIS Application Support Center 284 Dunes Plaza Kohl's Plaza, Southwest Corner Michigan City, IN 46360
  • Milwaukee, WI.
The address is: USCIS Application Support Center 310 East Knapp Street Room 154 Milwaukee, WI 53202-4504.

Yes, Milwaukee is the closest by 3 hours grrrr .

On top of that, when Dave goes to apply for his license (we're moving from CA to MI), the MI DMV will only issue one if his I-551 is current. It expires in June and they'll only accept a stamp in his passport ... not the 1 year extension NOA1 ... this is going to be stressful.

Thank you so much for your help!
