Ok so this might be a silly question but...

Will you know the result straight away as in will the Docs let you know if you've passed it or you'll have to wait till the day of your interview :shocked: . I know blood test and Xray do take some time but say that the Docs find something is wrong with you (Whether it's US K1 visa requirement or just in general) will the Doc give you a call? how does it work?!

Because I'd like to know.. after all it is my health and I am paying lol!

The Doctor will let you know before the interview if there is a problem. If you are concerned you can always ask them if there is a problem - you have a right to ask this question, it's your body after all.

They will contact you within 3 days if there is something wrong with your exam.

As above. The blood tests and chest x ray are both sent away so they don't have the results on the day, but will contact you within three working days if there is any issue. Anything else required has been reported by other posters here to have been asked for or discussed on the day of the medical.

Just to add - there are very few conditions that cause an automatic denial. The major ones are active TB and active syphilis. Psychiatric conditions only pose a problem when there is harmful behaviour associated with those conditions. Being depressed and on medication and well treated is not a valid reason for a denial for example.
