CONFUSED ABOUT KINGSTON INTERVIEW SCHEDULING

SO I FINALLY DECIDED TO CONTACT THE KINGSTON EMBASSY REGARDING UPCOMING INTERVIEW DATES FOR IMMIGRANT VISAS FOR PEOPLE WITH CASE COMPLETES IN MARCH FOR POSSIBLE APPOINTMENTS IN JUNE.ACCORDING TO THE MESSAGE THEY SAID THEY DONT SCHEDULE INTERVIEWS,NVC SCHEDULE ALL INTERVIEWS.IM CONFUSED BECAUSE NVC STATES THEIR WAITING ON KINGSTON EMBASSY TO SCHEDULE INTERVIWES.SO IM VERY CONFUSED,OUT OF THE TWO OF THEM SOMEBODY'S INFORMATION IS WRONG! SMH!

since you are a CR1 visa, you will wait for the NVC to coordinate with the embassy regarding your interview date... only for K1 visas as far as I know schedules their own appointment. You will either wait for NVC to email you that they have set a schedule for you or you can keep calling them to see if there's any update.

THANK you hun for your reply.everytime I call nvc they say their waiting on Kingston to schedule the appointment when they open their slots.I would call nvc again but to wait an entire hour to hear the whole spiel again I cant do it lol.

haha trust me I know how you feel! You can find a detailed sheet of people waiting for their interview and who had an interview, also a link to a thread where people are awaiting for interviews or people who got interview dates.. whenever I see this updated I call the NVC.. lol

Just keep trying sometimes it takes weeks or months for other people, it depends on the country I believe. I waited a little over two weeks for mine.. I found out my interview date by calling (friday) and got my email of the interview date on Monday/Tuesday

Thank you for the links hun.:-) .ive been waiting for 5 weeks now.I checked other people with cc before me an nothing at all.it seems as if kingston all together are not scheduling nobody for march. only people with cc in feb has interviews for may.no one has been scheduled for June.

no problem yeah, some really take a while to get their interview dates, but will definitely be worth it

You should come over to the Interview thread. Alot of people from your embassy waiting. But both told you the truth. Neither is wrong. The NVC waits for each embassy to send over their monthly schedule of slots. With this schedule they start putting cases in.

Kingston is a 2 to 3 month wait after Case Complete. This started happening about December. They use to be just under a month but they been slammed busy lately.

All you can do is wait until you come up in the queue. What is your case compete date so you can be added to the spreadsheet

THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE DWHEELS,I HEARD EMBASSIES SCHEDULE THE ENDING OF EACH MONTH.SO MAYBE ILL HEAR SOMETHING IN MAy.I HAVE BEEN PATIENT THROUGHOUT THIS ENTIRE PROCESS BECAUSE AT LEAST I KNEW THE TIME SPAN I WAS WORKING WITH FOR EACH STEP.BUT WITH THIS APPOINTMENT THING ON BOTH ENDS YOU CAN'T HEAR NOTHING AT ALL ABOUT A TIME FRAME IF YOU HAVE TO WAIT 60 days or 200 Days lol ,so its different from what im used to from the other steps beginning with uscis to nvc.I ADDED MYSELF EARLIER ON TODAY TO THE SPREADSHEET I DON'T KNOW IF YOU RECEIVED IT YET.IF YOU HAVEN'T LET ME KNOW :-)
