Hi everybody. My AOS interview is on the 30th of this month. We sent our package the second week of February so we are very happy and thankful about getting an interview date so fast (my Work permit haven't even been approved yet but I read that it happens sometimes), today I started getting everything ready and here is what I have so far

Marriage certificate

Petitioner's citizenship certificate

Mine (beneficiary):

-birth certificate with translation

-Passports (unexpired and expired with expired tourist visa) and i94

-Divorce decree (I was married before)

Proof of bona fide marriage

-daughter's birth certificate

-pictures

-prints of screenshots of our iMessage conversations (we only text through iMessages so there's no record of it on the phone bills)

-Phone bill that shows we share a family plan

-travel itineraries (including one from the past and one we are having 5 days after the interview)

-proof from the bank that states he just added me to his account and now I'm the secondary owner of it

-tax returns where it shows that my older daughter from previous relationship is my husband's dependent

-Apartment rental lease with both our names on it.

-copy of his benefits at work that shows I'm in his dental insurance and that I'm his emergency contact

-life insurance that shows I'm the beneficiary

-pictures of us as a couple and family

Should I take copies of the documents or the originals ...or both? I'm getting very anxious, I hope that's enough proof for them and everything goes smooth

That's a lot more stuff than we had, it should be smooth sailing for you.

If you have both copies and originals, bring both - if they ask for a document and you give them an original, they will just make a copy of it. If you have copies, they might appreciate the time saved.

I think that's plenty of proof, you should be fine. Good luck and I hope you get a nice officer! :) But with the amount of stuff you have, you'll get approved by a mean one too! Try to relax.
