I have my Nadra marriage certificate and english tranlation of my urdu nikkah nama. Can i attest it from foreign ministry or notary Public.

It is very very necessary to attest the english translation of urdu nikkah nama from notary public...bcz there are issues in nvc abt nikaah nama these days....and remember to send all three nikaah nama to Nvc...i mean urdu nikaah nama ...nadra marriage certificate and Translated copy...one of my friend didn't send urdu nikaah nama and one didn't sent translated copy and he was put in supervisor review..which means more delay.

Yeah I am just going through same process... I went to translate my urdu nikkah nama today and ... :(

please countercheck your english translation atleast 3 times.. There were many mistakes ...... And I was told that its better to do translation of NADRA MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE too.... Yeah Yeah I know its already been translated, like our birth certificates but the fact is '' a single urdu word in a document needs to be translated '' Someone at nvc told me ....... SO do translate your Brth crtificate nadra marig crti and original roo.... Plus attest them ,ist from notary public then from Ministry of foriegn affairs.... Best of Luck Bro

Thanks guys so its look like this

URDU MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE (Foriegn Minister)
URDU MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE Photocopy (Foriegn Minister + Notry Public)
Englisgh Translation (Foriegn Minister + Notry Public)
Nadra Marriage certificate (Foriegn Minister)
Nadra Marriage certificate Photocopy (Foriegn Minister + Notry Public)
but i am amazed why they are asking the translation of nadra marriage certificate and birth certificate as its english is clearly mention on it and there is no need to translate them.

the NVC does not need originals, only the photocopies. You bring the originals to interview.
