So I presented the papers for my parents in January, I recevied the receipt in Jan 26, since then I haven't heard from them. I tried to look online to see any update but the it said that receipt # is not correct. I tried to call but I can't talk with anybody too many options! Please help

The process takes about a year, there is nothing to worry about.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
