So you went to SSA first and they couldn't help you with it, then you called DHS??

We went to SSA once after the first time and they didn't have anything verified at the time. Called DHS and they said to talk to SSA. Seemed like no one had any information at the time, so.

I called again today... They told me the local office is still doing August 25th 2014..... I need to visit my home country for some reasons but I'm doubting that they will see it as not an emergency... I will try submitting for an expedited case, no harm in trying... Haven't heard or seen any updates from anyone who is in the same area...
