Alright, I think I need some advice. When I filed the I-129F petition, I put that my fiance's location is Yemen, but we want it sent to the consulate in Malaysia because by now he was supposed to be back in Malaysia as a student. He has been approved for the visa and he was just waiting for his approval letter to arrive before he can go back to Malaysia. Well, then a war broke out and all airports shut down and now we're stuck. We just got the NOA2 on Wednesday (1st of April), so I'm guessing it won't be at the NVC for at least a week or two? He does have plans to travel to Malaysia (he is trying really hard to find a way, even by sea, etc), so my question is, if his case gets sent to the embassy in Cairo, is is possible after he gets to Malaysia, to get it transferred to Malaysia? What do you guys advice?

1. Yes, it will take a couple weeks (at least) to get from CSC to NVC.

2. I believe you can ask the embassy that receives the petition to send it to the embassy your fiance ends up residing in. So if your petition ends up in Cairo and your fiance makes to to Malaysia, the Cairo embassy will have to coordinate with the one in KL to have it shipped to KL. I recommend searcing VJ for similar threads to get more info.

Assuming the address you put on the application for your fiance is in Malaysia, I am sure that's where it will end up.
