@ Habel and Munafn -

I know that both of you are using attorneys, I was wondering if you have heard anything from them about the ceac site and really the NVC processing in general? I am sure that the attorneys have a sense of what is happening with NVC....because something has definitely happened!

Hi Sbai,

Same as Habel, I had paid and submitted everything before this happened. The NVC site does mention that they are experiencing technical difficulties though. Hope it goes through for everyone soon!

@ Habel and Munafn - thanks for the feedback.

yea it looks like the NVC problem started in early May...and from all accounts, NVC's standard response to those who have called is " yes we know there's a problem...yes we are working on it...no we have no idea when it will be fixed"

can you imagine a government agency...say SSA or IRS.....or health.gov (LOL!) giving that sort of response to the American people?!

well, there's no option but to sit tight and wait til the ceac site problem is resolved.

Hey Sbai2000, I also think that there is something going on which is not technical, they made this kind of issue to delay process or control Visas. Because Its been almost 3 weeks they are showing technical issues.

First of all they hold of long wait at USCIS and now they are holding up in NVC..

We will hope for good, easy and early for evreyone.

Hey Guys,

I have another question as I heard that we have to send NVC-- 6 months paystubs.

So like all weeks paystubs for 6 months. that means 24 paystubs.?

OR one paystub for one month.? (My pay stub is weekly)

If somebody can explain that would be really helpful.

Thanks

I don't think it should matter but if your priority date is far you can change the address and wait for the statement next month then send it to be safe in case...

Seems to me the problem with NVC is bigger than expected otherwise it wont take this much of time... This is too much delay now...Its not affecting us, its affecting everyone in all categories....If this continues for more time then it will impact the flow of Visa Bulletin also....

Coz now the USCIS is approving petitions and sending to NVC and they will have backlog of petitions received before and new petitions.....

No one is able to do anything...all is stuck...Hence they cannot even complete ones case and schedule interview....

I m now thinking to mail Money order instead of waiting for the website to get fixed..I have the email from NVC to pay my IV fees...So the fees are definitely invoiced but just not available .....

Hey Guys, I finally got a Case number and invoice ID over the phone, I couldn't add my email since (according to the representative) someone is still working on my case.

I Was also told they received it on May 7th (CA cener approved on April 16th)

I tried to start the process using these new credentials but it's not accepted, maybe the work on my case was not finalized?
