Hi , I was wondering if anyone knows if medi-cal has anything to do with immigration?

Im pregnant and i need to apply for medical... but i don't want it to be a problem with immigration since im still waiting for a response..

As in, will it effect your immigration status? No.

Assuming you meet the other criteria, you can get medi-cal. There's some more info here:

8. Can green card holders, including those who have lived legally in the US for fewer than 5 years, enroll in Medi-Cal?

A lawful permanent resident (green card holder) is eligible for Medi-Cal regardless of their date of entry if they meet all other eligibility requirements. Under current Medi-Cal policy, eligible green card holders get full scope Medi-Cal in California even if they have been in the United States for less than 5 years.
