I am getting ready to send in my documents to NVC. I am the pertitioner,must i send a copy of police clearance to NVC or I can just have my wife present it at the embassy during her interview? My wife resides in Nigeria(not in Lagos),she tried to get the police certificate where she resides but she was told to go to Lagos. She is pregnant and I don't want to risk her travelling to lagos in her condition. Any recent Nigerian fillers pls comment. Thanks

Did you have any1 dat can help you in Nigeria to get it when your wife is pregnant? Its your wife that will need it not you and how will you get Nigeria Police report?

Yes you will need to send a copy of the police certificate with your IV documents. They lied to her. She can go to any police station in Nigeria and order her PCC. It may take longer like a week if she is not in Lagos. But very easy to do.

Let's your wife find someone to go with her if she can't go alone. Is very easy where ever she's living she can get the police report from station covering her juridiction!

I am not sure if it is compulsory to get it in Lagos. If it is, she has to get it from Alagbon Police Station where I recently got mine and the process is less than 1 hour she shd have enough time to travel back to her base.
