Hello Everyone.

My husband and I have decided we are going to divorce. He has already moved back to Canada and has no interest in staying in America. (Guess we know he wasn't here for the green card.) However, we are supposed to send ROC paperwork in June 3rd for his 10 year GC.

Is there anything we need to send USCIS telling them we are planning to divorce and my husband has already moved back to his homeland? I just don't want undue stress or trouble for either of us.

No further action is required. He could voluntarily surrender his green card by filing an I-407 together with his green card at his nearest embassy, but it isn't compulsory to do so.
