Hello

I tired using the online website to change my address and keep getting the following error

I've selected the I-751 form which I've received from the USCIS. The EAC # says CR189 but that is not a selectable option. So I picked I-751 in the pull down menu.

Edit : We have a pending RFE on our ROC submission. But we had to move in the mean time

Anyone having issues with the USCIS database not matching ?

Thanks

The following error(s) need to be corrected:
  • You must select the Form Number associated to your Receipt Number. The Form Number you selected does not match our records for that Receipt Number.

I had the same issue for two weeks...very very frustrating. So finally I called USCIS. Make sure you are using the receipt number on your NOA extension letter, not the other receipt number. I don't know why they have to assign two receipt numbers...makes things so confusing. Just make sure you use the one on your NOA and the online form will work for you.

To all who replied

Thanks - I was able to change it online using the 2nd EAC number on my NOA extension letter as pointed out by a member here.

Funny thing though the same EAC number does not get recognized if you use it to check your case status. Go figure !! Arghh.

Anyways, thanks for your help.
