No NOA 1 after 2 weeks...

Hello everyone! It's my first post here...

Never expected that I would post anything here but this process is just crazy and tricky.

My fiance has filed our petition two weeks ago. Actually he sent on 23 Feb and the form was received on 25 Feb. The check was already cashed (long ago! probably on 27 Feb) but we heard nothing from USCIS!

Is that actually normal?

Besides, is it a must to file G-1145 in order to receive e-notifications like texts and email on updates?

Well anyway... seems that my NOA1 via mail is still lagging behind the regular timeline...

If they've taken your money then that's a good sign they have it. You'll get your hardcopy NOA1 in the mail if you didn't send your G1145 with your application. Snail mail can take several weeks. Be patient, if you don't get it after 30 days give USCIS a call.

be patient, and dont worry, my attorney sent our petition feb19, the uscis received it 23 feb, and i recieved my noa1 by email march 6 and hard copy 10 march
