Good Afternoon!

My husband came over in 2004 from England on Visitors Visa and has overstayed. We married 2 years ago and have been together 6. Since it's been so long he does not have his I-94. I was told that all I needed was his passport with the original entry stamp.

So my question is, on any of the forms that require the visa number should I just hand write "lost I94" or leave blank and submit a statement saying I'm attaching a copy of his passport with the original stamp?

TIA :)

You can try entering "Unknown" or "Lost" where it asks for his I-94 number. There's a chance they will still RFE him for the I-94 though. Make sure the photocopy of his entry stamp from his passport is very clear and readable, to try and head that possibility off.
