Yeah, my agent was also very friendly.

Here is the CEAC website:

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==

Mine case is not showing up yet, but the NVC agent looked it up and said that it is in AP. So does that mean already at embassy, or AP at NVC?

I'll update my timeline when I can get the actual dates.

I feel ya! It is the unknown that is killing me. If I just knew what they are waiting for it would be nice. I am doing the countdown till our next visit. My fiancé and his son will be here in 3 1/2 weeks for a 5 week visit. When they are here we will be having too much fun to care. :-). Sorry you guys will not be together for your anniversary. We will at least get to spend ours together and my birthday. Take care and like you tell everyone...hang in there, your time will come.

Exactly! Its the "not knowing" that is the frustrating part. I am sure it's easier for you and Tim as he can travel freely here as he is from the UK and needs no visa for visits. It's just that you want him here forever and would feel better once this is done. :)

Yep, sucks for us but we're over it. We know that it's just a matter of time before this gets done so waiting a few more days/weeks isn't the end of the world. Compared to the time we will spend for the rest of our lives together, its only a small amount of time to wait. I'm so lucky to have found her - most patient woman I have ever met. She's quietly getting frustrated but looking at the bright side and taking the extra time to be with family before she comes here.

What do all of you guys look forward to changing in your daily routine when your fiance is here?

I'm looking forward to being able to wake up next to him. Then being able to actually get up and get my day started instead of spending 30 minutes to an hour after I wake up catching up on stuff he did that day. I won't miss staying up late waiting for it to be early enough for me to call him. I won't miss seeing him through a camera image only. I won't miss Skype. I won't miss Facebook. I am looking forward to getting ready for bed with him each night. I'm looking forward to waiting for my turn when he is in the shower. I'm looking forward to planning and cooking meals together. I'm ready for our future together!!!! (L)

What about you guys?

Never saying goodbye again - only saying goodnight.

We have a water shortage here in California, so we plan to do our part to help the cause and shower together. :)

I won't miss Facebook either. I know she won't miss 100 degree heat and 80% humidity. She won't miss rolling blackouts, terrible internet service, unreliable cell service and water that's barely suitable for bathing much less drinking.

I got home from a wonderful 10 days with Daisy and my step-daughter. Missing them both like crazy now. Our paperwork is at USEM ready to rock and roll and we are ready for the medical to be done once our daughters passport comes in from the DFA. The progress is going so fast and we are very happy about that. Then, I got an email last thursday that changed everything. LOL

I work as a contractor for the Military and just received a job offer in Korea to start in September. So, now the discussions start and we are both excited about the opportunity to spend 5 years in Korea. I was there a lot in the 80's when I was in the US Air Force and Daisy always wanted to go. I have done the research on schools and there are excellent options. The issue comes in with the K1 and advanced parole. If they could get here in July, then they probably would end up being with my parents for a couple months which we don't want to have happen since we spent the time to get them to the US only to be separated again. We could stop the K1, I fly to the Philippines, get married and let my company and the army work out her visa for Korea (which is covered). The issue is timing, they can't give me the "official" offer until August.

What a conundrum......

Hey, great way to help ration resources! I like it! We've been having storms in Texas like a monsoon! I love the rain; and I love how when it rains here, it's raining where he is too. (Awwwww....)

But the 100 degree weather and 80% humidity....um, we got that here. But we also have air conditioning, so that's awesome!

At least the advance parole time frame is taking closer to two months rather than 2.5 or 3 months.

One thing you may want to look into is some sort of 'passport stamp'? I've read around here where some people went to a local USCIS office and their new spouse was able to get some sort to AP stamp in their passport for certain situations. If you have the offer letter in August, then perhaps you can call USCIS and see if they offer some solution? There may be some type of expedite criteria - once she is your spouse, you may be able to see if that can apply to you. Or, they may be able to consider it a reason for expedite? All you need is the AP, the other stuff with the AOS and naturalization can work through your parents address, and may even go easier for you since you work for the government overseas.

Hey guys,

I have a question for the I-134 - do you think 2 pay slips, last tax return plus a letter from the employer should be enough?

Thanks,

Asaf

I am sending all the paystubs from my job since I started in November. However, I really, really, really think you'll want to send in more than 2 paystubs. You need to show that you have current income that will meet the 125% poverty line amounts (or somewhere close). I think the letter of employment will help, but I would also send in more than one tax return. I sent in 2011, 2012, and 2013 transcripts with the petition and noted it in a separate tab. I will send the 2014 transcripts (when I eventually GET THEM!!! :ranting: ) Don't forget the Form W-2 copy that matches the last year's return as well.

I am suggesting all year's paystubs, or at the very least, the last full three months. What if the officer wants to calculate what you've earned so far? If you have YTD info, highlight it, but they may want to see and compare too. They may feel more comfortable if you have a consistent pay, but if they don't know if your pay varies from check to check, they may feel a little doubtful.
