By the way, in case someone didn't pay for the interview yet. They will change the dollar currency (or might change it, in Russia they will change it) on May 29th. And for example, you could pay less in your currency for petition (or more if dollar got bigger in your country)

I'm the petitioner

  • Met: August 13th, 2010 month later decided to start relationship
  • Proposed - Jabuary, 2015
  • Decided to apply for k-1 visa - March, 2015
  • Sent I-129f to USCIS - March 27th, 2015
  • Got notification on I-129f - March 31st, 2015
  • NOA1 - April 7th, 2015
  • NOA 2 - April 30th, 2015
  • NOA 2 (hardcopy) - May 4th, 2015
  • NVC - May 13th, 2015
  • case sent to the embassy - May 15th, 2015
  • Ready to schedule an interview in embassy (on CEAC) - May 19th, 2015
  • Documents arrived to Russia and can physically schedule an interview - June 3rd, 2015
  • Interview (!!!!!) - June 11th, 2015 (neither approved or denied)
  • Administrative Processing - from 11th of June to July 15th

Green card:

  • Sent i-485, August 7th, 2015
  • Notification that they received it - August 13th, 2015
  • Noa-1 Sent to us - (were on vacation, got it on August 22nd)
  • Fingerprint appointment - September 1st, 2015
  • Walk-in - August 24th, 2015
  • RFE - August 26th, 2015
  • RFE evidence received in USCIS - September 14th, 2015

This is correct :) I paid Php 12190 which is more than $265 if converted to dollars.

I called NVC around 7:45 AM (EST) - that's 3:45 PM Dubai time and total waiting/call was 30 minutes.. got our case number :dancing: and learned that it was sent last 22nd May to USEM Abu Dhabi.

A friend from here helped me track our package and it was received yesterday, 25th May :dancing::dancing::dancing:

it took me 10 attempts before i got hold of a different ring tone... i would hang up each time i hear "all operators are busy" ....

out of 30 minutes - less than a minute with the first operator, who checks and say our case was received and another 2 minutes to the lady who gave our case number.... the music made me sleepy :content:

They claim not to have received it yet. Should I call again tomorrow or wait till Friday?

She asked specifically for the notice date and gave the spiel about 35 days. I wonder did she really check my case number.

My notice of action 2 date is May 8th, so I felt for sure they should have it by now.
