hi guys. this is my first time, so be nice :)

So, i just had my medical today and it was EXHAUSTING but i met a lot of nice people so it was okay. I was done with my medical at around 5pm (yes! 5pm cause it was a monday and i arrived at slec before 6am)

Anyway, the girl at the checkout told. me. to be there 2pm tom but the thing is, i'm from the province and i need to go home and catch a plane after lunch. i asked them. if i can come earlier, she said no because the doctor that is assigned to me is scheduled in the afternoon.

My questions are 1. is it true about the doctors being assigned to you? 2. can i go earlier than 2pm and will they accomodate me and 3. did it happen to you and what did you do?

i need advise please. thanks! :)

Did they tell you that only immunization is left for tomorrow?

And my experience for Day 2 is....SLEC told me to come back at 9am on Day 2. I arrived at 6:30am, I finished everything by 2pm. Another girl I met on Day 1 was also instructed to go back at 9 am, which she did. She finished everything at 6pm. I arrived early and got my reward...now I'll let you decide for yourself to take your chances. Wait a long time by coming early, or wait a longer time by coming at 2pm.

The sad news is I don't think you'll make it to your flight if you need to leave after lunch.

Have your ticket change coz you will never know what happens tomorrow, expect delays. schedule is schedule, they cannot accomodate of your excuse is to catch a plane ride home.

Change your ticket for another day and go early because if you will have to be somewhere to sit and wait, might as well be the waiting area of SLEC. There just might be the remote possibility you will be seen early but I wouldn't bet on it. SLEC has always been a two day process with no guarantees as to when you will finish. Yes, some can finish in one day but hey folks, this is the Phil.

hi guys, just saying hello from the province! ;)

i asked my sister to rebook the flight for me since she was the one who booked the trip. before coming in at slec i asked her if she rebooked the flight already and she told me that she hadnt rebooked the flight yet cause she was waiting for my confirmation.(god bless her)

i went to slec at 6am and showed my receipt to the guard and he stamped it with processing or something like that and he said to put my receipt at a box at counter A and wait for my name to be called. i waited and i chatted with some and learned that they too came early today eventhough they were scheduled at 2pm and got stamped wih processing. the personnel that we asked about our situation said that they are still processing the results and we should wait where we are supposed to go next (sputum/immunization).

at 9am my name was called and they told me that i need to come back for immunization by 2pm because the physician assigned or handled my physical exam was scheduled in the afternoon. i asked them if it will take until 10 pm to process everything, they said that it was a possibility since we were about 400 yesterday. i told them about my situation if i can go home and make it to my flight or my reserved bus trip at 8:30pm. they asked for the bus ticket but i have none cause it was just a reservation and i showed them my itinerary for the flight. they told me to have a photocopy of the itinerary and they will try to process it before my flight. i was so grateful and happy. i have it photocopied and gave it to them.

had my immunization at 9:30 am and i was done at 10:30 am. thank god!

and also, thank you guys :)

had me stressing. next time, ill plan it better. haha!

It's hard to plan for every possible thing that can go wrong. But the main thing that I discovered in this process is that you have to not get discouraged, think with a level head (no stress), and don't take no for an answer if you think your right.... then prove it. Smile and be kind during the interaction with others and you will get more honey.

I am glad that everything worked out. I learned something today from your follow-up post. Thanks for sharing and good luck on the rest of your journey.
