me and my wife are preparing the i 864 but there are some questions that are confusing. btw, my wife will be petitioning for her parents and she doesn't have a work, she is a housewife and i will be the co sponsor.

part 6. sponsors income and employment

does my wife leave this blank since she is a homemaker?

part 6 item 4

unemployed since? which date would she put?

part 6 item 5

current individual annual income? since she doesn't work,she will put $0?

part 6 item 11

do we need to check this one?

it says the person listed in 6a ( which is me,co sponsor ) 7a, etc have completed

form i864a. co sponsor fills up i864 or i864a?

any inputs please. thanks.

you will file the i864A as her household member

where it says income she will put $0 and attach a letter explaining why she doesn't work and file taxes

yes you will check 6a where it states that you will be filing the i864A, as you will be adding your income on her i864

Eversince i petitioned here as fiancee.she came here in us last oct 2010. I put unemployed since the date she received her employment card/ work aithorization. Im not sure if its correct

Here is my other question. My wife is a homemaker and she will be the sponsor for her parents. We are married and filing jointly. On part 6 item 13a - 13 c, what should she put there? My income? Or $ 0?
