Hi everyone,

okay we're about to do our AOS package and the first thing we came across is my now wifes name...on the AOS package do we put her new name or her original(she came over on a K-1)....we applyed for her SSN after we got married if that helps, thanks.

K-1 process

03/11/2006 - Engagement.

04/13/2006 - sent I-129F

04/17/2006 - I-129F delivered

04/20/2006 - NOA1

07/28/2006 - Touched07/31/2006 - Touched (NOA2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

08/01/2006 - E-mail NAO2 saying i was approved 31st

08/18/2006 - Packet 3 sent to Consulate

12/28/2006 - Interview (it's going to be a lonely Christmas)

12/29/2006 - Picket up Visa , one way ticket to Dallas!!!!!

AOS Process

03/06/2007 - AOS process starts (D.O.R.A) Submit application and Interview

04/06/2007 - Biometrics

You put whatever name you want shown on her greencard (which I assume would be her married name).

04/09/2015 - E-notification for Interview Letter

She should now be using whatever name your wife plans to use legally, whether that be her new married name, or her maiden name. She should be consistent with whichever name she decides to use legally.

Sept. 9/08... SSA office to change status to "U.S. citizen"

Oct. 8/08... Applied in person for U.S. Passport

Oct. 22/08... U.S. Passport received

June 27/11..... Interview - PASSED!!!

July 12/11..... Oath Ceremony
