Just wondering if any one here sees the show Betty Ugly. I saw the first orginal spanish version when it came out years ago. Currently this soap has become so popular that producers have remade it in many coutreis in various languages. If you go to YOU TUBE you can see all the spin offS of Betty ugly across the globe. Currenly La Fea Mas Bella (in Mexico) has a bit of a twist from the original colombian version. I know that in Meixco La fea mas bella is in its last chapters! Its way behind here in the USA. So if any one is in Meixo and has been following up let me know! Also any one fell free to talk about any Beaty ugly soap version that you watch!

In the US it's called Ugly Betty. In Spanish, it's called "La Fea Mas Bella" which roughly means the prettiest ugly girl.

I watch when I'm in Mexico but I couldn't possibly tell you what's coming . . . that wouldn't be fair to those who are watching in the US!!

Dont worry Im looking for the most current episode only, as in what they aired in Mexico yesterday and today. They usually air as they tape. Im way ahead of what they are showing here, but its ok I will find the episode on YouTube most of them are. If any one is ahead like me you an always pm me if you dont want to ruin the soap for the current watchers.

My mom faithfully watched this every 6pm 5 days a week in the Philippines. The show was titled Betty La Fea, and it was Spanish dubbed in Tagalog. I never watched the show but the rest of the nation was hooked, next to all of Thalia's telenovela. Now that it's in the US, I watch this show which airs 8PM here in Germany, my husband and daughter think Betty is hilarious. My mom will be surprised it's now taken over the US.

My husband faithfully watches the english version it in the UK, and he loves it too. This is the second time a spanish version airs in the US. The first time was a few years ago the Colombian versian, and the new spanish version is a remake from Mexico. Also there is a third spanish version is in Spain. The english version is on as a sitcom on thrusday nights. It's funny really funny but I think its even funnier in spanish. Lots of things get lost in translation.

I've seen Betty La Fea here in the Philippines some years ago and I kind of enjoyed it. They rerun it this year but in different TV station. There's also this one called Letty La Mas Fea, it's like a copycat of Betty La Fea and it's being aired in another TV station. I haven't seen the latter one so I couldn't really tell if it's the same soap opera or not.

Well, since I don't speak any spanish, I guess I have to watch the English version sitcom on Thursdays . . . I do like it! America Ferrara is really good in this role . . . although she's not really "ugly", LOL!!! I like all the characters . . . even the bad ones, :innocent: .

I watch La Fea Mas Bella EVERY night (no Ugly Betty for me). I just love Lety and Don Fernando! If you go to www.esmas.com you can find the Capitulos which keep up with what's going on in Mexico. We're about 2 months behind them, and I love every minute of that show. Last night Lety was getting everyone together for the Junta de Comite. She saw Aldo in Conceptos for the first time and they had a nice little conversation. The cuartel almost got fired. What else...Alicia Ferreira had a run in her hose LOL... I just adore that show...glad to know other people watch it as well.

My husband loves La Fea Mas Bella (and he doesn't even speak Spanish :P. But he wants to learn.) He watches a lot of Spanish language TV here -- sports, news, game shows, whatever.
