Wow. Congrats man! I'm happy for you! We are still stuck between USCIS and NVC, USCIS says they've sent it to NVC, NVC says they don't have the file.

I'm frustrated, my husband and our lawyer say we should wait for the 35 working days they told us about, wish there was something I could do.

Hate waiting for the unknown.

Wow. Congrats man! I'm happy for you! We are still stuck between USCIS and NVC, USCIS says they've sent it to NVC, NVC says they don't have the file.

I'm frustrated, my husband and our lawyer say we should wait for the 35 working days they told us about, wish there was something I could do.

Hate waiting for the unknown.

Well, they were very short with my husband when he called, they basically told him, "we've sent the file to NVC, after that, it doesn't become our responsibility", so they didn't even tell him when it was sent.

I'm sorry, that really sucks.

I know that after all this calling USCIS once again might be too overwhelming, but I found this advice in one of the Wiki's here:

...if your case doesn't arrive at NVC in a timely manner (timely manner being the current wait time), VJ member tokinaija suggests: "Call USCIS, and specifically request to be connected to a Tier 2 supervisor (bypassing the contract customer reps). When connected to a Tier 2 representative, request that you want confirmation that your approved case has been physically shipped to NVC. In amenable words, request for the specific date that the package was shipped. If you are lucky, you will get someone who would take the time to confirm this for you."

Morning Everyone,

Still waiting on the DS 260 to become available to fill out- this waiting is very irritating.

I will ask my husband to call again, but last week, they refused to transfer him to Tier 2 supervisor... Will try again today after work.

Tell him to be sweet as sugar- they are more responsive & willing to transfer you if you are nice. So tell him to bite his tongue even if they are idiots.

They only release the DS-260 when the status changes to PAID. For me, it changed at around 3 pm (at NVC time) for my two cases.

PS: Yes, I was so OBSESSED that I would check the website every single hour :blink:

I know, thats what's scaring me. I'm going to call when I get off if it hasn't been updated to paid.

Thanks, I'm hoping it changes at 3 today or I'll call. i won't mention how often I check. Even yesterday when I knew it was a holiday I kept checking.

Hey guys, so on friday i received a notice of intent to deny for the i129f that my lawyer had submitted with my i130, i am hoping to speak with him sometime this week about it, Im pretty sure not responding to the NOID will cause a problem in the long run even though the i130 is already approved and at NVC from what i've heard on these forums atleast... anyways it really put a damper on my long weekend :/ ...And still no response from NVC that they've received our packet - think these 2 are related?

What is the notice of intent to deny? I also did the I129f with the i130, but I don't anticipate any issues with i129f interfering with immigrant case.
