Since passing of interview on DEC 11TH, I have received NOTHING. No email, mail. The online & phone status update still shows interview scheduled in NOV 2.

I did infopass and congressional inquiry recently and also spoke to tier 2. According to them on phone, USCIS finished my application on JAN 29th and put in line for oath schedule BUT I have seen no proof of it. If supervisor finally approved my case, why did I not get oath letter? Why the online status never changed?

It is so fraustating!

Don't think they finished my application cos if they did, I would know my oath date & online status would change too!

I have another infopass on Monday

Sometimes USCIS is not prompt with the status updates. However you can be in line for oath scheduling. As soon as they schedule your oath you will get your oath letter.

according to a Tier 2 officer on phone 3 days ago, he told me the local USCIS office has responded to my infopass inquiry and the response is " application is finished and applicant is put in line for oath & the response is also mailed to applicant on Jan 29th. Now if they actually mailed me something, I would receive the next day excluding Sunday. It has been 8 days and received NOTHING In my mail box and NO email too and status remains same from NOV.

If Supervisor review was complete on Jan 29th, won't I receive a letter regarding oath now? How many it takes from supervisor final approval to oath letter?

I know many of you saw your updates and that's why I am asking this question.

I never received a notification that I was inline for oath, I only received an Update after Oath was scheduled. I was told this could take up to 4 months after the interview and depends on the amount of oath ceremonies in your city and how many people are waiting. Good luck

N-400

10/08/2014 N400 sent

something is not going right! I will make infopass again and again and again. The problem is you can't make future infopass if you already have one coming and it takes at least 12 to 14 days to get an infopass. If my case is approved by supervisor, why there is no oath date yet and why no proof of anything? I made infopass and service request for expedited request. If I have to keep waiting after 60 days, that's not expedited service.

the resposne by USCIS to congressional inquiry I received today says" applicant is in queue to be scheduled for an oath ceremony. When a date becomes available, she will be notified by mail. Please note she may travel with his permanent resident card".

First of all, all kinds of misinfo there

I requested expedited service and if i am still waiting for path after 2 months of interview, that's not a service and secondly, I can't travel internationally with GC since its not a travel document or PP. I don't have PP or any valid travel document. It takes 3 months to get rerentry permit travel document.

Also it doesn't mention the so called SUPERVISOR REVIEW which I was told has not been done just recently during infopass.

1- What do you mean you requested expedited service? Did you file a written request for expedited service and did USCIS grant your request? Did you ask for congressional assistance in expediting your application when you filed? People have done that before, but I just want to understand which process you followed.

2- It doesn't mention supervisor review because USCIS told the congressman's office that you are in line for oath scheduling that means the review is over and you have been approved.

yes I requested expedited service request during infopass 17 days ago and with senator's office 15 days ago.

MY case is still the same with interview scheduled.

I contatced senator's office today and have the USCIS consider my expedited request.

After getting the final approval that doesn't mean getting an oath letter the second day. usually, there is another team who handles the oath cermoney, it will take some time because there is people ahead of you. I would give it 3-4 weeks , then I would follow up

AOS

day 1 -- 04/11/2012-- package sent to Chicago

day 2 -- 04/12/2012-- package was received.

day 43-- 05/23/2012-- Notice for an interview is received for 06/26 @ 2pm

day 63-- 06/12/2012-- Received a Text & email for an update- Card production EAD/AP

day 77-- 06/26/2012-- interview / approved on the spot.

day 86-- 07/05/2012-- Received my GC in the mail.

ROC

day 1 -- 04/07/2014 -- ROC Package delivered to VSC

day 16 -- 04/23/2014 -- Walk-in Bio.

day 197 -- 10/20/2014-- Approval Letter received dated 10/16/2014

day 202 -- 10/25/2014-- GC received

The people ahead of me are the people who got approved 2 months after me and people who got approved with me had their oath over a month ago.

Unless I act on this, this will drag on for many months sure.

Then keep bothering them

1- are you sure they are actually agreed to expedite your case? In the last two years I've only read about one case that was actually expedited. It was a few months ago and it was an applicant in Ohio whose cancer was in remission. I think he was naturalized and finish the entire process in about three months; almost exactly after his green card anniversary date.

2- I wouldn't worry too much about your online status. There are people who have already taken their oath and their online status still says testing an interview.

infopass again after 3 weeks today. they never actually touched my file after approval in DEC 11th. We were not told the truth about case being finished with supervisor review and waiting for oath. they have done NOTHING! We spend over an hour and talked to supervisor where she told me she would talk to a supervisor to speed things up.

You're jumping the gun talking about court filing fees and lawyers etc. Your 120 days is a bit out still, I suspect since you had your info pass appt and talked to a human face to face, your file will get some action but you can't call them every other day demanding action ;)

Since when can't you use your current GC to travel internationally? You've been free to travel with it the whole time you've had it.

I can't afford $400 US court filing fee and thousands of attorney's fee to have a a judge decide my case if it goes on after 120 days.
