I was wondering whether I'll be interviewed by the same CO again... The reason for this is because 2 years ago, I applied for a tourist visa and was interviewed by a male american consul with blue eyes... Then, I applied again for a student visa and was interviewed by the same CO again. So I'm wondering whether one consul is assigned for one person to do all interviews pertaining to that person.... :rolleyes:

I was wondering whether I'll be interviewed by the same CO again... I'm sorry to say that no one here can definitively say whether you'll get the same CO as before or not. Just like can "someone tell me when I will get my visa?"

I would say that maybe the odds are in your favor and you just might get the same CO again as you have on two other occasions but I have never heard this practice before.

Anyway, good luck and just be prepared for ALL CO's so you can pass your interview.

Haha it was just a question that popped into my head. He was okay, he was the one who approved my tourist and of course still the same person who denied my student visa..

Probably not. For K-1 we just get in line and the usher points us to the next open window, which is probably a choice of 10 windows or so. The CO's don't get to pick who they interview and there's no pre-planning to assign CO's to individual K-1's from what I could see a few weeks ago when we did our interview.
