I don't know of anyone on welfare that has nicer things than me. I guess I make too much. I've never understood the comparison really. The people complaining about this must have lower incomes. I'd have to give up a lot of what I have/do now if my wife and I lived off welfare.

They'll just throw you in jail for not paying child support. That way everyone can live off the taxpayer dime. You in the clink and her and the kids on AFDC, welfare and food stamps.

Sounds like your part of the 53% that supports the other 47%. Me too. I like nice things as well. Seems there's quite a few in this great land of ours that are perfectly fine with living off the govt. as long as they don't have to put on those work boots. It's not just welfare like it was in the old days. Now it's disability, food stamps etc. Throw in Obama phones and all the other "social" programs. It's pretty awesome for those that are fine with just getting by. As long as they keep voting democrat, all is good.
