:time: Cannot tell where you are in the K1 process? Did you pay the visa petition fee, or did you pay the visa application fee? There are two separate and distinct fees, paid to two different agencies.

:guides: in particular the K1 Flowchart.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

My fiancee paid in the bpi for her fiancee visa

Go here and create a profile for your fiancée: https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/

The above link will allow you to schedule her visa interview. Just keep advancing through the screens until you get to the payment screen. Enter in the MRV receipt number, and if it is accepted, you will proceed to the next screen which is the scheduling calendar. Then you just select a date for the interview.

To prepare for the interview, follow these embassy instructions: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/1178798/29DEC2014/K1%20and%20K2%20Interview%20Preparation%20Instructions%20-%20English%20_updated%2029%20DEC%202014_.pdf

Your fiancée will need to complete the DS-160 online. You can help her fill it out, but she will be the one to have to sign, submit and print out the confirmation page. You will need the confirmation page for the interview.

Also, your fiancée will need to complete a CFO seminar before she is allowed to leave Philippines.

Thank you so much for these instructions. We're almost in the same phase as well. Actually, we got the MNL# last month, been waiting for the letter for weeks, but nothing has arrived. I'm glad to find you folks and for all the helpful advice! Edited by dynm
