At the bottom of the Form G-1145 and in the box where it says "E-mail Adress" and in the next box after it, where it says "Mobile Phone Number (Text Message)". Does USCIS give the person whom is completing this form the option of providing only his/her email adddress if he/she chooses to receive an "Electronic Notification" only by email only or does USCIS require the person completing this form to provide "Both" an email and mobile phone number?

My preference is that I would much rather provide my email address so that I will be able to receive any notificationS from USCIS via email for the reason being that I can print any email received from USCIS for my own person record and also so that I can forward email received from USCIS to my fiance (the K1 applicant".

Will appreciate a response

You can choose either one or both, plus you can check status online (once you have your case number) , plus you will receive the I-797 in the mail.

You can fill out just one and leave the other blank. This is just a notification form, so they will notify you by whatever email or mobile number you give them.
