CFO Sticker

Hi everyone. I have a few questions on the CFO sticker that my wife will need to get. Do you have to make an appointment when getting the CFO sticker? Or do you just go there? Also, will the CFO sticker be released the same day she goes and gets it?

Just go there, takes 30-45 minutes for them to affix it to the passport.

Yes she needs an appointment. www.cfo.gov.ph

CFO sticker is released only when you have your visa approved. If you haven't gotten your visa and you are taking the CFO class then they will issue you a certificate whereby when you do receive your visa, return with your passport and they will attach the sticker. Stickers can be gotten at the following CFO locations; Cebu, Manila and NAIA.

She already took the class and have the counseling certificate so all we need is the CFO sticker. We looked earlier at the web site and couldn't find anything that says an appointment is needed for the sticker. It just lists 8 requirements. That's why I posted my questions just to be sure.

I couldn't ascertain that from original post. Then you will not need an appointment just show up during business hours. They are closed now till the pope leaves.

An appointment is not needed to get the sticker. They need to bring the CFO certificate for the seminar, their passport with visa and should be good to go... except for more $$$$

Hi Hank, we also saw that my wife needs to complete the emigrant registration form (per CFO web site). Is this form filled up at the office or should my wife print it and fill it out prior to going to the CFO office?

That online form is the one needed to get the sticker, so yes you can complete it and bring it along, or complete it there.

Hi Hank, the CFO site says to bring a copy of the data summary sheet. Would you she need to bring the original DO NOT OPEN envelope too or can she leave that at home and just bring the copy? Thanks.

Unfortunately, yes bring the DO NOT OPEN package (keep it protected) as CFO want to see the original, and make copies of the Immigrant Data Sheet attached.
