Hello, just wondering, does the Karachi embassy now do K1 visa interviews or is still only Islamabad?

Also, all forms such as I129f, G325a, they have to be signed in black ink otherwise I will get an RFE? and what about other forms such as letter of intent to marry, do those also have to be signed in black ink or we can get away with blue ink?

Also, I have a document which is basically the receipt of the hall where the engagement took place, entire receipt is in English, but there is one line on the document that is in not in English, do you think I can fly that by or have to have that translated?

Thanks

Hello, just wondering, does the Karachi embassy now do K1 visa interviews or is still only Islamabad? Check embassy website or VJ South Asia Regional Forum.

Also, all forms such as I129f, G325a, they have to be signed in black ink otherwise I will get an RFE? and what about other forms such as letter of intent to marry, do those also have to be signed in black ink or we can get away with blue ink? Likely of little consequence, follow the specific form instructions.

Also, I have a document which is basically the receipt of the hall where the engagement took place, entire receipt is in English, but there is one line on the document that is in not in English, do you think I can fly that by or have to have that translated? If the document is to be sent to USCIS it should be translated. Think of the audience that will be reading it.

Thanks

I emailed the embassy in Karachi and they said because K1 is processed like an immigrant visa, the case will be processed in Islamabad. I haven't heard anything different since then.

For the document, it should be fine I think. At the Islamabad Embassy, the person interviewing you will probably not even ask for it. And if they do it's very likely they will be able to speak Urdu. Translating is mostly for USCIS and when the petition is filed.
