my friend who lives alone here in our city is pregnant with her boyfriend in the Philippines (she went to the Philippines then came back pregnant) she doesnt have any family member nearby to help her take of the baby when it's born. her job will only be sufficient for bills and she cannot afford to pay for a baby sitter; she is an LPR but already eligible to apply for citizenship but as of now she cannot afford to pay for it. she will deliver the baby here in the US (baby will be US citizen automatically); and she is planning to go back to the philippines and leave the baby to her boyfriend so she can work and save for her future plans like petitioning her boyfriend to join her here in the USA with the baby...

should she report to US immigration about the US citizen baby to be staying in the philippines? should the baby be a dual citizen so they cant pay for overstaying when a certain period is over?

thank u in advance..

U.S. Immigration does not care about U.S. citizens living in foreign countries. Yes the child would have dual citizenship and I suggest getting a Philippines passport also makes life in the Philippines a whole lot simpler that way.
