The fun part is that the Sukhoi Su-25, NATO Codename "Frogfoot", the type quoted by the "witness" is a ground attack aircraft.

Not only is it unlikely to be configured for air-to-air combat, being unable to carry long-range radar guided AAMs, but it couldn't catch a Boeing 777 at cruising speed if it tried.
