Evidence questions

What happens if they request more information and you have nothing else? We don't have joint bills, a lease/mortgage with both of our names, wills, medical power of attorney, or bank statements for a joint account. We do have a joint account, but it is new and we have no statements from it. We only have 15 days left to file, so we can't wait any longer.

We have: car insurance, health insurance, last years' taxes, bills showing the same address (though mine is a year old, I have no regular bills), bank statements showing same address, a dozen or so pictures of us together, and a city news website that has a picture of us together in an article.

We don't mind having to do an interview, but are worried that we will be denied for lack of physical evidence without being offered an interview.

You won't be denied without an interview. Try to have some affidavits written up by people you know, and anything at all that you may have together. Gym memberships, museum/aquarium/zoo memberships, AAA cards, plane tickets/itineraries of trips, anything that can support your life together. If you planned to have a will written up anyway, now could be a good time. They also frequently request driver's licenses/ID's with the same address, if you have those.
