We have to be so careful, as after a ""SPUTUM FIASCO"" delay, we were ready, for the the interview, BUT at eh interview, they kept her original copy of NSO birth cert...,.,.,but our visa company, saw we needed the original, and back to NSO for an original, copy, and another delay. We had to have it for CFO, but we got it done, and we departed the Phils. on time after a 3 month delay, with "SPUTUM FIASCO"..,..,BUT WE GOT THROUGH IT ALL, thanks to our visa company!

Happily married couple, living the life!

Lost records are lost, we just need to do the work and get what is needed, and move on!

They said at the interview that it would take anywhere from 5-14 days (but don't forget it's the holidays so the delivery might be delayed) Our interview was on 16th December and I checked CEAC website yesterday (19th) and it said "Issued" which means the visa's been printed, put in your passport and is ready for the courier to pick up. So I believe it will be delivered either on Monday or Tuesday.

Update: Matt's case status still hasn't been updated. His Police Report should have been delivered last monday/tuesday. How long does it normally take for them to receive it/review it? I'm getting worried. I understand that it's the holidays, but this sucks. It isn't fair...I just want to be with him.

I am the petitioner.

Going straight from ACRO to the embassy, it may not have easily matched up with his file. Kinda like responding to an RFE from USCIS without sending the RFE letter along with the documentation requested. Once everybody gets back from the holidays they will sort it out and figure out why they received a police report and which department it goes to if they haven't already. Then make a decision. Then send the visa to print. Then pack up the file and passport. Then hand over to courier. It will happen.

Well, they did include his case # & passport # with the report & addressed it to where it said it should go to on the blue paper. The lady never told him her name, so he couldn't send it straight to her. She was quite rude, apparently.

I am the petitioner.

Well there's only been six working days since his interview. I have known people in the past who waited 3 weeks before they picked up the case again. Lots of people were probably taking vacation too, so short staffed. It's just the very worst time of the year to get a fast turn around. Something will probably happen next week.
