Hello,

My husband (a Danish citizen) is waiting for his AOS to be processed. In the meantime, we've applied for his employment authorization. We've been waiting (anxiously) since Sept. 29th for news. I received the below message via our Senator's office:

Thank you for your follow up inquiry regarding Case MSC***, Form I-765, A# ***, DOB *** filed by X that was received on 9/29/14. This case is currently on an officer’s desk undergoing further review and adjudication. Once further action is taken on this case notice will be sent to the address of record. If X has not received notice in 3 weeks please follow up with another inquiry.

Has anyone else received this type of update? I don't know if this is standard USCIS language or if it means there is a problem with his application. He's really struggling with not being allowed to work so I'm dying to get this document in hand ASAP.

Thanks for any information!

We contacted both of our senators' offices to try to expedite. We were told that we don't meet expedite criteria. At this point the "only" major effect is my husband's mental health--he's so bored!

Ok then that's why you got that. everybody is so bored with this process. They won't expedite just because.

Good luck I think your EAD should be coming soon and patience!

There is people who applied before you in september and still waiting!

They may expedite if he has a job offer already and they write a letter for him
