Filing New Affidavit of Support for AOS

Hi all!

Quick question. We are preparing our new Affidavit of Support for our AOS paperwork. I am the sole sponsor and the petitioner.

In part 5, it says Enter the number you entered on Line 7 of Part 3

Part 3, line 7 just asks where I was born? Also, do I could my spouse, if my spouse is the one for whom I am petitioning? Our numbers should just add up to 2 if he's the only person I am sponsoring and we don't have kids, right?

Thanks so much everyone!

Megan

Line 7 of part 3 is total number of immigrants you are sponsoring, not where you were born. In your case it is 1.

Line 8 of part 5 will be 2.

At the top right side of page 3 you will find line 7 of part 3. It's a box where you enter the total number of immigrants that you are sponsoring which in your case it should be 1. In part 5 line 1 you would enter "1", in line 2 you would enter "1" and in line 8 you enter the total of "2." Do not count anyone twice.
