We are doing medical today, since our visa appointment from NVC says January 9th. Should not have any problems but one question... Anyone else hear about taxi drivers spraying women that knock then out? Just heard from friend who warned us about that... Thought we would say something and hope that it would not be true! Any information would be good to know incase you are going alone to embassy and St Lukes...

Yes, knock out gas has been on the news here. There are a few other options such as MRT, LRT, jeepney, etc. The United Nations LRT stop is something like a 15 minute walk to St. Luke and USEM.

Be safe!!!

seems to be holes in this story, my question would be how does the taxi driver avoid inhaling the gas himself. Many red flags would go off if all the sudden he pulls out a gas mask i would imagine.

True Forgotten, but as a woman traveling by herself, how often does she pay attention to driver? Most look out window seeing what's going on.

That story has been floating around for years (as in almost 10 years)

One story a woman claims to have been sprayed and felt dizzy so asked the driver to drop her off at a gas station... now for the stupid part of the story.... he does.... if he sprayed her to rob her or whatever, why would he drive her to a gas station when she asked?

...too many people with a deep need to chit-chat BS.
