I have an inquiry about photos

the issue is that I checked with the embassy and and the photos description was different other than the description as per travel.state.gov.

I just want to know to which description should I go?

The photos requirments in the embassy stated that the face should be little to the left, this is to say that the right ear should be fully appearing.

I think both of your ears should fully appear. Anyways that's really strange.

If I were you...I would probably just have two sets made, one with each spec and see which they want at the time...

I have heard of this 'to the left' thing before but can't remember what the rationale was

As said above the official requirement does have both ears visible but is facing forward
