Once my fiancé has had his interview and the visa has been delivered to his house. How long can he 'sit' on it in the UK before he has to travel to the States? So does he have to fly over to the states within a certain time or does the 90 days only begin when he arrives in the states?

Thanks

The 90 day period to marry begins on the date of entry to the US. Typically, the K1 has to be used within six months of issuance.

You have to travel to the States within 6 months of the medical, the date will be printed on the visa.

The 90 days then begins when he enters the US.

although you have 6 months to enter the US, double-check the actual expiration date on your visa because there have been people that have received a 3 or 4 month expiration date.
