NVC received my PCC on 11 November

Hello everybody,

Hope everything going well, but it's been 1.5 year since my wife fill up petiton for me.

I have sended NVC checklist response on 11 November and they scan on 17th November .

First of all they haven't acknowledge sending mail of confirmation.

So I just call NVC today and they mention that it takes 60 days review time.

My question is does it really takes 60 days to review them . It's such a messy situation that they tangled us.

I m desperately waiting for my visa interview date and hopefully I get cc message before 60 days

Is there any body who had pass from same situation

Would be much appreciate

Unfortunately, yes. The NVC is severely backlogged at present due to an increased number of approved petitions from USCIS, hence, they require up to 60 days to review your documents, including responses to checklists.

I'm sorry to hear that it's taken you so long to get to where you are in the process. As hard as it is, try and be patient and remember this situation is only temporary. You're certainly not alone.

I have the same date as yours, I sent PCC on Nov 10th as well, called them 2 weeks later, I got a very junior rep. he was constantly repeating like an automated machine ...30 to 60 days msg...

I am frustrated as well...not much we can do except for waiting for that one word to hear 'approved'
