My wife is scheduled for her interview on December 29. We did everything with the electronic processing. My wife has completed the medical exam. Does she need a packet? Or is the packet the medical exam papers you take to the interview?

When we got the P4 they said to print and take to the medical exam and interview. But they did not say anything about a packet. So I do not need a packet?

Sorry I am confused about the packet. I did research and found nothing about that.

Thanks,

Mark

If I am not mistaken the P4 is the packet 4. it is not a physical Package, You would take what ever you needed to from the P4 to the interview.

Stuff for EP Guangzhou Interviews:

1. appointment letter (printed out from email).--nb - this is the actual P4 for Guangzhou

2. all scanned things submitted to NVC via email - that's:

__a. I-864 with original signature

__b. all I-864 supporting docs

__c. DS-260 confirmation page

__d. ALL ORIGINAL WHITE BOOKS issued by Chinese Notarial Office

__e. 2 passport/visa photos, USA standard size

3. your photobooks, less than 1 inch thickness, gotta fit under the window slot thingie

4. medical exam packet, picked up from the medical exam place

Since yer casefile # started with 'GZO' - I am surprised this stuff wasn't covered in the appointment letter. It was, in ours.

Yes all this info you just told about half is on the letter... did it say 1" for photo book? thanks for letting me know. I will tell my wife to get a few thin ones. The one she has is almost 6 inches thick haha.

My wife is all prepared with all the original documents. Just needs to fix the photo album issue.

Thanks for the info! :-)

nah, the appointment letter says nothing about photo books or the curved slot at the interviewing window. it's like a fortress, bullet proof glass, thick, vertical, with a curved tray at the bottom for handing things through it. Since the tray is curved, a 1 inch thick photo book usually fits, IF the binder outside is flexible plastic and NOT rigid. See, it's gotta traverse that curved tray in front of her.... Single papers are easy. A 4 inch stack of anything will not fit through it.

What a bad set up. They should do it like a window line at the drive through bank in the US :-p. But makes sense to have a secure building. Got to be careful these days. Thanks again for the tips! :-)
