Jobloss around interview date, do I need I-864?

Hello,

We had submitted our packet 3.5 documents with me as the I-134 Sponsor with 2013 tax returns as indicated in the letter (I am an Electrical Engineer so my salary met the guidelines). I lost my job shortly after, I was hoping to have landed something by now but things are slow due to holiday season. I/we will be staying with family so there will be no rent, I have no car payment, only some basic expenses that I can easily cover with the unemployment insurance like (car insurance, cell bill and few other minor expenses).

The interview has been scheduled, so I am assuming I need to scan submit form I-864 via online and mail an original to her for the interview?

Thank You

K1 only use the i-134 until they AOS. But if you are not currently making over the poverty guidelines you may want to find a co-sponsor.
