Got my fiance's G-325A by mail today!! Im gonna send out the I-129F in a couple of days. I tend to forget things, so can anyone check if everything im gonna send out is OK?

Here is what Im gonna send out:

Cover letter

$170 check

I-129F form

Document of question #18 on I-129F

US birth certificate copy (front/back)

G-325A for me (4 copy)

G-325A for fiance (4 copy)

My letter of intent

Fiance letter of intent

Document of our relationship history with proof (flight itinerary, boarding pass, 8 photos, 5 translated email conversations)

Do you think thats enough proof? Also, Im sending it out to the Nebraska center, how long does it take to get NOA2?

Much thanks

2/3/2007: Sent out I-129F package to Nebraska Service Center.

2/9/2007: Check cashed.

2/15/2007: NOA 1 and at California Service Center.

5/16/2007: Touched!

5/17/2007: TOUCHED AGAIN!

5/29/2007: Called USCIS (RFE trick). Operator said APPROVED on 5/16/2007.

5/29/2007: Touched (probably from operator checking my case status).

6/1/2007: NVC completed my application, will forward to SEO.

6/11/2007: Recieved packet 3 via email.

Send just the relevant pages - or a sample of relevant pages. Include your the ID page and then some stamps with the date highlighted. Every little bit helps!

And I think it's just one photo each of you and the fiance. At least, that's what the I-129F instructions say.

(I just freaked out went "2? what 2?" and re-checked the instructions . . . .)

Some people have gotten RFE's for the fiance's birth certificates. Since this item is 'usually' not requested, the guides here do not reflect this. Google I-129F and check other lists, as there are several law firms and other forums that have lists that are more comprehensive than what you are sending. There are two schools of thought:

1. Send only what they ask for as sending too much may delay your application

2. Bury them with evidence and documentation and you're less apt to get an RFE

I followed the first rule and got an RFE requesting copies of my bank and credit card statements showing purchases and cash withdrawals I made while in Thailand visiting my fiance. Another fellow here sent so much evidence he had to use a shipping BOX and had his NOA2 in record time. I'm convinced #2 is the best route to go, and I wish I'd done that in the beginning and I'd have cut my processing time by about a month, (or so I figure).
