I would think that whatever guildlines were most recent at the time of your filing would be the ones you would be held by.

It will depend on your actual interview date and the effective date of the new guidelines when they are established.

The guidelines that will be applied are those in effect on your interview date.

They were put out on 01/24/2007 (had to pull them up and realized 2007 was out a few days ago)

For a family of two, 125% is about 17,112 dollars.

I don't know which is going to effect you, but I guess I'd be prepared and hope I'd made enough to be over both the 2007 just in case

Then I'd get a co-sponsor. I know no one here wants to get denied or have to do it at the last minute, so I'd do it ahead of time.

That seems odd to me that you'd be held to a guildline different from the one you filed under, but I'm sure there is a good reason. If your spouse is working (although I don't see that you filed for an EAD so this may not help) you can add their income in. If that isn't gonna work definitely line up a cosponsor or get a better paying job

The December question was for Liszy, I filed in early January. It's ok, we do have a co-sponsor which we used but with the new guidelines we're right (barely) above so I'm just hoping they won't be too picky. Students recently graduated getting marrying always have a hard time.

Look to page 10 of the document. It appears I864 is usually regarded as sufficient at the time of filing if concurrently filed with I485.

As in all cases there are caveats, and they are clarified herein.

In that case, it'd mean that they'd start checking the 2007 guidelines to cases filed after Jan 24th?

They will be effective whenever USCIS/DHS adopts them. Agencies have discretion to use the published date of elect their own date.
