Hi all,

I have one question regarding I-134.

My fiancee is medical student and she gets loan money in her bank, can we still show that as my sponsor. The amount she gets is enough to cover 125% of household income.

Or do i need co sponsor

Thank you for your reply

A loan cannot be used to meet the income requirements because it is borrowed and has to be paid back. However, having a loan doesn't count against any other income she has.

This does not constitute legal advice.

I am having difficulty to find co sponsor. I have co sponsor ready to give me form and his bank statments. Is that enough or I need more documents of him

thanks in advance

Bank statements are a poor way to prove income. London loves to see a letter from employers stating the job, how long there, and yearly salary. A copy of his tax transcript would also do. They are available from the IRS. Or he can photocopy his latest tax return and his form W2 to go with it as proof of income.
