I think people that fill in those lines do it as a support to their annual income if they did not make enough simply with their annual income. It would be good if she filled out her annual income.

yep the assets are not required if your income is sufficient. some people do anyhow to feel more at ease but not required if your income meets the poverty requirement. think it is 100%? for the I864 I believe it is 125%

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the embassy in the Philippines does not accept co-sponsors for K1 visa. They only accept co-sponsors for spousal visa

Co Sponsors are case by case basis.

perhaps her income is not enough that is why she listed assets. However, I think her affadavit is still filled out incorrectly because if she is claiming assets to qualify, she would not only have to list her annual income + the assets to my knowledge. Otherwise it will look incomplete to them. Anybody else can help with this?

Nope, not even slightly OK. Embassy does not look very closely at assets, in fact they don't give them much consideration at all. The embassy wants to see INCOME.

Embassy instructions letter states they want to see the most recent tax return and W-2 (showing gross income that at least meet the 125% income requirements of the I-864P)

You can include bank statements and an employment letter if you choose, but the embassy isn't interested in assets.

Follow the flashing arrow below for details and additional links for everything regarding the K-1 process in Manila

The annual income on the affidavit of support was N/A but its evident on her form 1040 ..what should i do?

Your fiancee need to complete a new I-134 with the gross income (as shown on the 1040) listed. Don't bother listing assets.

You are wrong ;):)

The embassy does accept a co-sponsor with the K-1, but they have very specific requirements and ... rarely do it.

As i checked the poverty guidelines for the 100% she will pass but for 125% she wont just a slight diffrence, the only probelm now is she put N/A in the affidavit of support for her annual income but its evident on her Form 1040 .Can i just leave it as is or do it need to be change? Considering the payment for Fedex ,im just looking for the way its easier than to send me another documents.

Everything was hand written, she told me to put the figures in it cos it can be seen on her Form 1040,can i do that?pls fellow vjers,i need help.im close to my interview soon.thank you.we dnt want to be delayed again.
