I don't know if this is the right place or not but here goes. My fiancee just recieved her police certificate that she sent for from Warsaw. Can she open the envelope? I hope so because our interview is in two weeks and we want to be sure that the certificate is correct.

I don't think she's supposed to open it. My fiance got his letter but it wasn't sealed totally so he had a peak. There is only one letter in the envelope, it's the letter she filled out requesting the certificate. It has some stamps on there that says she hasn't been in trouble with the law and that's it. No "official" police report or anything like that.

Quick question about the police certificates.

My fiancee has been to the US a few times on H2B, Student, J1 visa. She has been in three places, Maine,Vermont,NH, Does she need certificates from all three? I read they only need them if they have lived in the locations for more then 6 months. Is this correct? if it is the only places she has been in for more then 6 months was in Vermont on her J1 visa.

Thanks

Francesco y Sonia.
