Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone can advice me regarding the case my father has for my two sisters. He's a US Citizen. He filed an immigration petition (I-130) back in 2007 and both got approved through USCIS very quickly, but since they're both married and over 21 they pretty much have the lowest priority as far as NVC is concerned. Unfortunately, my father has gotten very sick after and has been in the hospital for the last two months and will require serious home care and support from now on once he gets discharged.

They're both in the US now, have been here for a couple of weeks so far using B-1 visas. Is there a way to petition or ask the NVC to expedite their immigration visa award? Or is there anyway to change their visa status due to hardship?

Thank you very much

Unfortunately, the immigrant visa process of your sisters cannot be expediated since they both come under F4 category which is subjected to numerical limitation(65000 visas per year). Right now, applicants with priority dates in the year 2002 are receiving interviews so it is not possible for anyone to break the line and get the the green card even under a hardship.
